The laureate of the title Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Arsim Bajrami, on July 6, 2023, accompanied by Professor Zemri Elezi, visited the University of Tetova, where they were welcomed in a friendly meeting by the Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli.
Initially Prof. Dr. Arsim Bajrami congratulated the Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli for his election as the Rector of the University of Tetova. He said that, knowing the profile of Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, I am sure that with his vision he will move forward this public academic institution of Albanians in North Macedonia. “Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli has all his merits for every contribution he has made, since 1994 at the University of Tetova, as a student he was a President of the student union, assistant, professor, then after a period was Vice-Dean for Education and Dean of the Faculty of Law. In all these positions he has been proven and also as an outstanding expert and leader with his positivity and the love that he has for the university, students and colleagues, I believe that he will continue to manage in the best way with the University of Tetova, by integrating it even more in the European spaces and not only, and will work hard to make the University of Tetova a university with all the standards that many internationally renowned universities possess”, said Prof. Dr. Arsim Bajrami.
While the Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli thanked Prof. Dr. Arsim Bajrami for all the support he has given him since his studies until now. He further said that the contribution of Prof. Dr. Arsim Bajrami is exceptional and has been a model for his students, that even we with our possibilities, contribute to the general good of our society and to the national cause in particular.
University of Tetova, in 2016, Prof. Dr. Arsim Bajrami awarded with the title DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA for his valuable educational and scientific contribution since the first days of the foundation of the University of Tetova; for his permanent commitment to the advancement of legal sciences; for the unsparing support of the academic staff and students of legal sciences of the University of Tetova; as well as institutional support in the capacity of the Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo, for the University of Tetova and education in the Albanian language in the Republic of Macedonia.
Prof. Dr. Arsim Bajrami is one of the drafters of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, and has also made a valuable contribution to many international agreements related to foreign policy, as he is also known for his contribution to the development of higher education in Kosovo. He has been also the bearer of many public functions such as Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Rector of the University of Pristina, etc.
