The University of Tetova (on November 19, 2020) awarded the best students in the first and second cycle with university scholarships.
The awarding of certificates to outstanding students took place without any solemn ceremony as in previous years, due to the situation created around the world, including in our country, with the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus and the recommendations of health authorities for non-gathering of people.
According to the Head of the Office for Education at the University of Tetova, Ass. Prof. Ibrahim Neziri, this year about 100 scholarships have been awarded to the first and cycle students who have met the necessary conditions, such as timely completion of obligations to studies and have an GPA at least 9.5. According to Neziri, the students who have awarded the scholarship are exempted from paying the semester regardless of the tuition fee.
University of Tetova with the allocation of university scholarships for outstanding students for excellent students started in 2013, and during these eight years the beneficiaries of the scholarship have been over than 1000 first and second cycle students.
Scholarships are awarded in accordance with the Law on Higher Education, the Statute of the University, and the decision of the Senate of UT.
